[ REQ 5814]: SGI binary versions

Hi. I have been a happy user of geomview
on a 5-6 year old 310 GTXB SGI machine that
is reaching the end of its useful lifetime.

Some folks in Applied Math have a new
Indigo II Maximum Impact that runs the
SGI binaries at a speed no faster than the
old SGI. One can guess that re-compiling
might help, or newer system calls. But if
you are using such equipment and have properly
"optimized" binaries, could you post them
or tell me which README to read?

Finally, I tried to run the binaries on
a colleague's Power Challenger and got
a missing library message. Again, the same
question as in the previous paragraph.

Many thanks.
