We're an engineering consultancy, specializing in CAE. I'm in the process of planning the development of software to be used as a "Results Viewer" or "Electronic Engineering Notebook". The viewer would be used to interrogate data creating during a CAE project. Data may be textual, tabular, graphical (XY, Bar, Pie), presentation (e.g. MS Powerpoint), CAD (wireframe and surface), finite element(Nastran and LS-Dyna3d) static, dynamic and transient animation. It would appear Geomview may be capable of showing much of the data we want represented. I tried Geomviev (x11) on an HP 9000 Series 715 running HP-UX 10.10 and it core dumped(it worked ok under the 9.05 OS). Which compiler do I need to re-compile the code, ANSI C or C++? Do you have a binary that runs on HP-UX 10.10? Have you made further enhancements and/or do you have additional software that may help for the applications described above. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Yours truly, Tony Bingham
