Sure enough, geomview 1.5's COFF binaries don't run under Irix 6.
We do have another distribution package including ELF binaries -- it's
   ftp://geom.umn.edu/pub/software/geomview/geomview-opengl-irix5.tar.gz
							     (or .tar.Z)
which should work fine under Irix 6.
