Dear Webmaster,

	I don't know if you are the right person to ask
about this; if not, please forward this message.  I
attempted to download geomview-sgi.tar.gz, a version of
Geomview for SGI, Iris 5.3.  I unzipped and tarred the
result, getting a Geomview directory full of what I
would expect, except that all executable files had *
(asterisk) appended to them, and needless to say, were
useless.  The instalation instructions said that I
should be able to run 'install', but of course I can't
since it is 'install*'.  Likewise 'geomview' is
'geomview*', and 'gvx', 'gvx*'.

If you know what is going on here, and can recommend a
course of action, please reply to the below address.
