[ REQ 6033]: Linux ELF geomview binaries

I downloaded geomview-1.5.x-linux-elf.tar.gz and installed it on my
machine -- a Pentium Pro running Linux kernel version 1.3.20.  When
I tried to run the script geomview, I immediately got the error
message "segmentation error", and nothing else.  This occurred
whether or not the X server was running. 

I will try to install geomview from the source unless you can
suggest something else.  Thanks.
