Hi, there's yet another release of geomview out now in case you want to try it,
which is in much better shape for other platforms at least, i.e. it builds
and seems to run on lots of machines.
It's at
  ftp://geom.umn.edu/priv/slevy/geomview-161b8-src.tar.gz
(as well as binaries for a bunch of platforms, replacing "src" with "sgi",
"linux", "hpux", "solaris" (but for Sparc not x86), etc.)

If you try it, please let us know whether it worked.

Did you have any luck finding Motif libraries in /usr/dt under Solaris x86?
