I recently upgraded to Mathematica 3.0 and run it under Windows 95.
However, I will be installing Windows NT, version 4.0 soon and expect that this Platform will be stabler for graphics production.  Is it possible to adapt the source code for 
GEOMVIEW to run on either of these platforms?  Also, was the decision to make GEOMVIEW an Xwindows, NeXT, etc. program based upon the availability of an existing set of architectures at the Geometry Center or does the program run
better on these platforms than it might under Windows?
I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has attempted/succeeded in porting GEOMVIEW to a Windows environment.
