[ REQ 6079]: -nopanels bug?

Hi there, I'm using Geomview to generate images in the background.
Ideally, I'd like Geomview to do this at random times and without me
being logged in to the console of the machine. I thought the -nopanels
option would give this to me but you must still be logged into the
console of the machine even with -nopanels. Is this a bug? If not,
could you add some option that allows Geomview to operate without
having permissions to the local display? Thanks.
