Does your Indigo have Impact graphics? If so, all GL (as opposed to Open GL)
graphics are emulated via the DGL daemon. You might try replacing the
geomview executable, ".../Geomview/bin/sgi/gvx", with one that uses Open GL.
You can fetch that by anonymous FTP from geom.umn.edu as priv/slevy/gvx.OGL.gz.

Also, if you have Impact graphics, ask SGI for patch 883; it fixes assorted
GL bugs and performance problems.

Another thing to fetch is priv/slevy/Geomview-irix5.tar.gz; it includes
versions of geomview-related executables compiled under Irix 5. This seems
to help a lot with the FORMS-based external modules. Extract it from
the directory above the one with the geomview distribution, e.g.
from /usr/local if you've installed the package as /usr/local/Geomview.
It also includes a Geomview/bin/sgi/gvx executable (compiled for plain GL under
Irix 5), so take care save a copy of gvx before extracting.

If you don't have Impact graphics, probably none of this will help.
