[ REQ 5746]: New user: Geomview setup question

HI
I have recently installed geomview on my system, I am running linux
therefore have installed the linux version. I am a Carleton Univerity
student and hope to use Geomview for a project.

As stated above, I have installed the linux version as well as the
general patch. Since my project will require Bi-Directional communication
with Geomview, I am attempting to compile example3 supplied in the
doc directory but I can't get past the error which states that the
files "lisp.h" and "3d.h" cannot be found. According to the documentation
the OOGL lisp library is part of Geomview.

My questions are, do I need my own version of Lisp?(I do have CLisp
installed but it does not contain a lisp.h header file.)

Also, were do I find the libraries specified in the compile command
since I do not have the sgi version?(The command in the documentation
specified -L/u/gcg/ngrap/lib/sgi. (I realize the the u/gcg/ngrap must
be replaced with the path on my machine.))

Any assistance in these matters would be greatly appreciated.

If my project does get off the ground, I do intend to register to
inform you of how I am using Geomview.
(The goal of my proposed project is to use parallel computers to
aid the computations associated with redrawing dense scenes).

Thank you in advanced
Gilles Beauparlant
